Heath has been a trial attorney for more than 25 years. Initially working for a major insurance carrier, while there, he received concentrated training in all aspects of personal injury claims. Following his employment with a major insurance carrier, Heath was an Assistant District Attorney for a number of years receiving extensive training in jury trial presentation. He uses both the specialized training in injury claims along with his trial experience to maximize awards for injured clients and deceased’s families. Consequently, he has recovered millions of dollars in awards for these accident victims.

Heath is licensed to practice in all the courts in the State of Georgia, having appeared in all courts within the judicial system, including Magistrate Court, Probate Court, Municipal Court, Juvenile Court, Superior Court, the Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of Georgia. He has also been appointed as an Assistant District Attorney, Municipal Court Judge, Solicitor General, Guardian Ad Litem, and Mentor by the Supreme Court of Georgia.

Currently, he serves as the County Attorney for Upson County, as well as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia. He has been recognized as a Rising Star attorney in the State of Georgia, an honor given to less that 2.5 percent of the State’s lawyers.

His primary focus is protecting the rights and providing legal representation to clients and families of those injured or killed in auto accidents or from a negligent medical procedure.

Heath and his wife Jane-Asher, a Special Education Instructional Coach, have four children and two Schnoodles. Their oldest child is currently enrolled at the University of Georgia as an incoming freshman. When they are not chasing dogs, attending soccer games, volleyball games, or clay target competitions, the whole family enjoys spending Saturdays in Athens.
